I know that the books in this series are supposed to be comical, fun and light-hearted (which they are) and aren't meant to be taken seriously, but the plot is becoming stagnant.
This is probably the only book where Greg learns a lesson from his experiences, which is not being in a hurry to grow up, but aside from that, his attitude and actions are terrible. I don't like how he treats Rowley, so I'm always happy when Rowley ends up winning at life.
This is the last book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series that I own and while I might borrow the next book from the library or read it if it comes my way, I'm not in a hurry to continue this series.
