I thought Callum did a much better parenting job in this book and it was good to see him stepping up. Reed fought for Ella no matter how hard she pushed him away and THAT was perfect.
Poor Easton. He is just such a hot mess that he hides with humor and dirty comments. And seriously, what is up with the twins and Lauren? I'm curious about what is going on there.
And holy fucking shit that cliffhanger!!!!!! If I had read these as they were released, I would have lost my mind.
The female narrator still isn't working for me. Thankfully, parts of this book are from Reed's POV and done by the amazing Zachary Webber, so that helped!

also I am a fickle fickle lady and my loyalties have changed and somebody please deliver me an Easton Royal STAT. I’m not really sure what it means when people call people/characters cinnamon rolls but I feel like this is it??? just smushy adorableness ♥︎

Even though it is quite predictable for most of the story, and everything is kind of.. Unreal ? It is incredibly addictive and I get sucked into every part of this story.
Love the characters and can't wait to see whats going to happen next !!

***Probably best to hold off reading this review if you haven't read Paper Princess as there may be minor spoilers. I've (hopefully) perfected the art of extreme vagueness, so it shouldn't be spoilerish***
Oh my lordy…my heart is thumping. To think, I nearly didn't start my journey with the Royals because I don't read YA. It certainly didn't take long before I re-assessed and changed it from YA to YBAM - Young Body Adult Mind. Young kids these days...they grow up way too fast...and wild...and naughty...
In Broken Prince we really see these kids grow up. Ella is strong. We know this already, but in this instalment, it's not just her inner strength we see. She's using her strength to protect the underdog too. Reed has felt the pain of loss and is determined to be a better person. Gideon, my heart breaks for him. I want the cloud hanging over his head removed. Easton, poor lovable Easton. At times, I wanted to kick him in the ding ding then with a turn of the page I wanted to hug him so tight that he's all better. Now those twins...I'm feeling a bit naughty wanting to know what goes on behind closed doors for Sawyer and Sebastian (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). Callum ended up surprising me, at first I was grumble, grumble, then I was YIPEE...welcome to parenthood!
The Royal family does not believe in smooth and easy, so, of course, we see plenty of bumps and mountains for them to conquer.
I was watching my percentage read, go up with each turn of the page…dreading…hoping…that everything would be alright. I knew Erin Watt would want my heart pumping and my nerves to be shattered, but I honestly did not see that ending coming. This story gets better and better and while I was desperate to see the story play out, I was already dreading The Broken Prince’s journey coming to an end. The ride was exciting, gritty and sexy. I loved seeing below the surface of the Royals and a few more truths come out that had my eyes popping.
I can’t wait for Twisted Palace.

Broken Prince was all kinds of gripping and entertaining. I was hooked hooked hooked! The drama that starts to unfold was juicier than PP. You'd think we saw enough in the first book, but this second installment brings drama to a whole other level. And it's the kind of drama that you enjoy!
Knowing how Paper Princess ended with that heart-wrenching cliffhanger, I couldn't wait to know how our girl Ella would survive. But this is Ella we are talking about and she is still as badass as before and even stronger. In this book, she proves she doesn't take bullshit from anyone. In BP, we get to go into Reed's mind, which I was so anticipating. He's so closed off to everyone and we barely know much about him. We get to see Reed being so vulnerable. He has feelings, you guys! I felt so much for him and I fell even harder for him.
Obviously, Ella is pushing Reed away after what went down in PP. She doesn't trust him at all, but Reed being the ever-loving man he is, goes out of his way time and time again to prove to Ella he's still the same Reed. Ella isn't like these characters from other books where they forgive so quickly. Like, I get you love him but respect yourself and make him beg, you know? Well, Ella makes Reed work for it, and work for it he does. He's so head-over-heels in love with her and the reader will fall for Reed and for this relationship so hard! A lot of scenes had me swooning like I've never swooned before in my life!
The whole cast from PP was even more present in this sequel, especially Easton! I love Reed, but Easton has my heart. I want him to have a happy ending! He really deserves it. He's such a great and loyal friend. Plus, he's so easy on the eyes ;)
These motherf-ing cliffhangers! You'd think that Paper Princess cliffhanger was bad. Broken Prince's cliffhanger leaves you with a major WTF look on your face and needing Twisted Palace. We need answers!!
Overall, Broken Prince is juicy, hot and scandalous!
