Goddess of the Underworld spans the multiple centuries of Persephone and Hades' marriage, right until she becomes mortal and dies for her love. I was kind of expecting to see another side to her, that would make her more sympathetic, but that didn't happen at all. I kind of liked how she remained petty and selfish, since it made her character consistent. She actually seemed worse than she is later, but she is trapped in a loveless marriage that she never wanted, so that's to be expected. However, that doesn't excuse how she chooses to treat everyone around her. At least she got her happy ending.
