Jocelyn Davies pens a beautifully written sequel to A Beautiful Dark. A Fractured Light picks right up where the story left off at the end of, A Beautiful Dark. Many intriguing revelations are brought to light, as the fight against light and dark, good and evil, rages even brighter and bigger than before. The character growth and development is stunning, as Davies delves deeper into the story embarking readers on an epic journey through the wonderful mythology she's created. There is so much to discover about the "rogues" and the mythology surrounding them.

The twists and turns in this novel will leave readers breathless, dripping with anticipation, and craving more. There are wonderful moments where Davies explains more about The Order and The Rebellion that makes the story more interesting and will definitely capture their attention. It is an incredibly captivating and satisfying read, that sets the stage perfectly for the next book in the series. The love triangle will have readers heads spinning. It's hard to decide who is better suited for Skye, Asher or Devin?

The plot twist involving Devin is probably the best part of the novel, in my personal opinion. It pretty much levels out the playing field and presents Skye with an interesting choice to make. What this novel lacks for in action, it more than makes up for in wonderful character development, intriguing revelations brought to light, and brilliant world building. The imagery is probably one of the most gorgeous things about this book, there were passages within the pages that are easy to get lost within from the sheer beauty of Jocelyn Davies writing style.

A Fractured Light leaves off with a beautiful cliffhanger, that will have readers on the edge of their seats anticipating the next book in this amazing series. It is not a book to be missed out on.
