Fast paced start to the series, I couldn’t stop listening to it. I liked the main character, Leralynn a mortal human, I also liked the 4 Fae warriors. The five of them are now a group thrown together by magic and being a RH book you know what that will mean. The story works really well, world and character building was great as I felt I got to know them all. I thoroughly enjoyed Power of Five and am looking forward to the rest of the series. The narrator did a fine job, her accents were brilliant.
Loved this! Each of the four warriors of the quint had such distinct and equally interesting personalities that made you love them all. Despite being a mortal, Lera had spine and I loved her. My only criticism is that it felt a little insta-lovey to me. There wasn't really much build up before they jumped to love. I can maybe understand since they are all magically bonded through the quint. The tense change also threw me a bit. I always have a tough time adjusting to writing that's in present tense, but switching from first person present to third person past kept throwing me off. Other than that, I loved the world and watching the relationships between Lera and each of the quint warriors grow. The first book is a bit short so I'm looking forward to finding out what happens next.
