Holy smokes! I have NEVER read a Penelope Douglas book before and I don’t know why. She is phenomenal! This book. How do I write this review? I loved it. I hated it. I hated to love it. I loved to hate it.

I absolutely loved Jared. I absolutely loved Tate. They were incredibly chiseled. The pain and embarrassment that Tate felt was often my own and I cried. The Bully that was Jared was absolutely beautiful. His emotions rolled off the pages and became a part of me. I didn’t want to love him. I cussed at him, I yelled at him, I cried for him. It was brilliant. I can’t wait to go into his POV and see more of him. Feel more of him. Love him all over again.

I will tell you, this isn’t an easy read. It’s emotional, it’s powerful, it’s friggin fantastic but if you want a sweet, non angst read, this isn’t it. If you want a 4 star worthy read that will knock the breath from you, that will leave you reeling and ready for more, then absolutely pick this up. Fantastic job, Ms. Douglas. Fantastic job!

First time to read a book from this author and it was superb!


I started reading this at 12am and finished at 4am same day! so yeah, I spent atleast 4 hours because it's really a page-turner!

I like the personality of each characters, how Jared seem to be confusing and at the same time annoying. Tate surprises us with her comeback and the way she answered Madoc and Jared is empowering. I like the plot twist - the author made us difficult to trust Jared too. At first, you know he's being sweet and sincere but then he'll do something which leaves us freaking pissed at him and we can't just trust him (we can relate to you, Tate!) , I also thought the scandal was plotted by Jared but no.

I highly recommend this book! Specially the "Until You", POV of Jared - related to Bully but with a little twist and ending

I liked this book for the most part, but when I hit 80% I was kind of done with it. The 20% after seemed kind of redundant. They had their tension and got closer.. but when they got together it got super cheesy.. and I kind of skimmed throught the last part because of that.
I liked Tate at the beginning, she got it together and did not whine too long, but when they got together she kind of changed for the worst.. acting jealous for no reason and lack of trust in Jared.. It kind of ruined the story for me.
Also.. how is this about bullying? Yes in the beginning she was bullied.. but later on, it was just to people being attracted to each other..
So I was going to give this one 4 stars.. but the last part of the book made me reconsider, and together with the lack of real bullying it now is more like a 3 star.
