This one starts out beautifully but is hard to reread when you know the twists. It's always bothered me that the Mossad never told them they were watching out for them. Or that the guy confronted her on his own instead of warning David and Michael. But I guess since they didn't know where the information was being leaked from they didn't want to alert the wrong people. Still, it's hard to read the whole thing knowing.

And I'm kind of sick of characters not trusting their instincts. It's a plot device, and it happens in real life. But it happens too much in novels and David annoyed me more than anyone else in this story. I just wanted to smack him because he's smarter than that.

The other twist is easier because David knows immediately about Ellie and it's clear that not telling Michael was the right choice. But Moshe and Rachel's grief is hard and yet it doesn't have to be endured very much until they find out and since it all works out it's not so bad.

And it ends well. But there's really not much nice and pretty in the middle of this one.
