This book did such a good job really showing the challenges of living on the poverty line. It was also wholesome, and I enjoyed the sweet mild romance. I really enjoyed this novel.

Really, really enjoyed this one. Adored the gloves off friendship Rico shared with Zan, and I really appreciated the endless ways Zan surprised me. In fact, Stone wrote so many incredible characters in this book, who were multidimensional and well crafted. I loved one part of the ending, but I really feel that I would have 5-stars on this one had I just gotten a bit more from the very end.

Overall: Another incredible book from Nic Stone.
