The whole concept of kisses that let you experience another time is quite interesting. I do wish Kiss Across Time had gone deeper into this rather than the brief info-dump that we're given. When Taylor kisses Brody and Veris, they're whisked back to ancient times. Kind of. They don't actually time travel, but they just experience it like a waking dream. It's basically a vampire ability that is shared between mates, but of course, the bond between Taylor and her two men is quite unusual.
Kiss Across Time has a lot of sex! A lot. Taylor knows Brody and Veris for only a few hours, but they get it on like crazy! Despite that, there's also a pretty well developed plot here revolving around Taylor's research. This mysterious poet is not someone humans are suppose to know about, so obviously her research is frowned upon by vampire society. Needless to say, that puts her in danger. It's fairly predictable, but I did like this twist on history.
Kiss Across Time was a pretty good read. It's quick, sexy, and unique. I'm certain I've never come across this combination of genres and tropes before, and likely won't again (except for the sequels, of course).
