We are fast coming to like the more and more early reader stories we're finding with Amelia Bedelia. "High-interest stories for developing readers." [b:Amelia Bedelia and the Surprise Shower|155106|Amelia Bedelia and the Surprise Shower|Peggy Parish|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1347266336s/155106.jpg|1096604] is interesting an includes a family member of hers that I had not met before. Here Amelia Bedelia and Cousin Alcolu help to prepare a garden wedding shower and both are of the same typical Amelia Bedelia literalism. It's one that makes you cringe and grin all at the same time.
