Phew! I thought youngest brother, Chase, was hot in Tempting the Best Man. He has nothing on older brother Chad!
Chad Gamble may be a super star pitcher for the Nationals, but his off the field antics have the team screaming "foul" and demanding he clean up his act. While he tries to abide by his new contract he meets up with the one woman he hasn't been able to stop thinking about, Bridget Rodgers. But when the paparazzi catch them in a not so innocent embrace, blackmail and a fake relationship result in hopes of salvaging Chad's job. But keeping the "fake" in their relationship proves harder than they think.
Chad is a hard man not to love. He's charming, funny and even with this "man-whorish" ways, a man anyone would knock down others to get to. He may inflate his normal character when out in public, but in private he's still someone others graviate towards. It's not surprise that Bridget was drawn to him or that she would question his desire to be with her, given who he counts as his friends and who he is photographed with. But we discover Chad is a man who wants an intelligent woman who sees the real man he is behind his baseball glove and the press.
Bridget doesn't have a lot of confidence when it comes to believing a man like Chad Gamble could have an ounce of interest in her, but she finds she can't help but liking the man. Even when forced to pretend she's his girlfriend, she's drawn to the man that he is. He infuriates her, but he also teaches Bridget how to let go and enjoy herself.
J. Lynn is a fabulous storyteller. She manages to create these absolutely hot men who are so down to earth it's impossible for the everyday heroine not to fall in love with them. She's quickly become a must read for me in the Brazen line at Entangled (and I found myself downloading her YA Lux series as Jennifer Armentrout as well). Definitely a "must download" title from my new favorite author.
