In All Through the Night, we’re reacquainted with Jack Seward, and introduced to Anne Wilder aka Wrexhall’s Wraith. Anne is a widow who runs a charity for injured soldiers and their families, but much of the ton find it fashionable to announce that they support the charity, only to not have the funds to back it up. So what does Anne do? She sneaks about at night and robs them for what they promised! Meanwhile, Jack has been tasked with capturing her because she’s believed to be in possession of a very important letter. Of course, Jack doesn’t expect the Wraith to be the woman who stars in his dreams.

All Through the Night was so good! I loved the entire premise of Anne being a thief, but for a good reason. I also loved that Jack figured out that she was the thief early on, because it caused tension! He has his duty, but he’s also in love with her and wants to protect her. Anne’s life is in danger because she’s believed to know the secret letter’s contents, and Jack will do anything to save her, while also making it look like he’s doing his job.

There’s also a ton of sexual tension! Anne’s marriage had not been one full of passion, despite her husband absolutely doting on her. And she’s a woman with needs and desires! Disguised as the Wraith, she’s able to act on this desire with Jack and not feel guilty about it. He’s also completely taken with her as both the Wraith and as Anne, so lucky for him that she’s both!

I really enjoyed All Through the Night. While it’s not my favorite Romance, I can definitely see how it made the best Romances list! Anne and Jack are a wonderful pair!
