A novella from Puck's perspective! Summer's Crossing was so much fun! It picks up right where The Iron Queen ended. Ash and Puck are off to find Grimalkin, but they're interrupted. Ash owes Leanansidhe a favor and she's ready to collect. Right now! Now, the odd couple are off to the Summer court, where Puck must pull off the ultimate heist: sneak in the Winter prince, steal from Titania, and sneak back out without getting either of them killed. Plus there's the matter of Oberon planting a seed in Puck's head to off Ash in order to win Meghan's heart. This mission would be the perfect opportunity to do so.

I really enjoyed Summer's Crossing. Puck has been a great supporting character and it was awesome to finally get into his head. He is the ultimate trickster and he's just hilarious! While their mission was super, duper dangerous (at least for Ash), it was also super funny. Titania and Lea's little war is so ridiculous! If you're a fan of this series, I would not recommend skipping this short!

¡Me encantó! En realidad me gustó un montón. Aquí viene el por qué: ¡No está Meghan! Sí, no sale la protagonista y yo soy feliz.

Historia corta de Iron Fey, es narrado por Puck, ¿Por qué no hizo Julie los anteriores libros con solo él como narrador? Solo con él y el Principito de Hielo, Ash, en menos de cincuenta páginas me sentí más conectada, más, mucho más emocionada que con los tres libros anteriores.

Conclusión que ya sabía: Meghan es el problema.

Por como acabo The Iron Queen, espero que ese sea un buen augurio.

Summer's Crossing was a fun jaunt in Puck's world. Normally I am not a fan of novellas because there is either too much or too little story. But not here! This was a quick, simple story about Puck and Ash and one of their adventures between full length novels.

I also found myself liking Puck a lot more in this novella than in previous books. He was fun, and you have got to love his pranks.

You know I didn't love Puck's voice as the narrator entirely. Some things were just too blunt and flippant. But it was also just a novella so it's almost over before you even have time to be bothered about anything. And it's a fun little romp with some insight into Puck and a different point of view on this world.

Funny, quirky little story about Puck and Ash. Puck always has a prank up his sleave, and this story was no different in that concern.

I really don't know if Ms. Kagawa is trying to be nice and merciful by providing us with this short novella or being cruel and evil for enticing us with such a good story AND then making us wait for The Iron Knight.

I love Puck's inventiveness, intelligence, sense of humor and loyalty (don't get confused people, I'm still Team Ash!) and it was so nice to read this story from Puck's point of view. The story begins where The Iron Queen ended, and Puck and Ash need to change their plans to fulfill a promise made by Ash (you might remember why.) Puck is brilliant in this story and you can see how each of our heroes handles Megan's absence. I cannot wait to read The Iron Knight and I am so curious to get inside Ash's mind. His loyalty and his absolute love for Megan is so touching and beautiful. Below find the gorgeous cover for the Iron Knight, in my humble opinion the best cover yet!
