This was REALLY good! The magic wasn't as prevalent as I thought it was going to be; sometimes you could almost forget it even existed. But the tensions and politics were really interesting. I adored Latona, her sisters, and Sempronius. The end in particular was divine! I'm really looking forward to book two.
