While Kate has found success in her career, loves her home and even has a cool gig baking delicious treats for her friend Matt’s cafe, she isn’t in a serious relationship. She longs for a forever relationship and family. Her best friend signs her up for a dating agencies Twelve Dates of Christmas event. Oh boy…
I loved the story and where Bayliss took the story. It was charming, funny, and just gave an overall warm and fuzzy feel. I think it’s perfect for fans of the movie Love, Actually.
I adored Kate, who is at the age where she is looking for marriage, children and a partner. They held the dates in different venues, from ice skating to a drink mixer. Some were good, and some were disasters. But all led Kate to discover that sometimes love is right where you least suspected it.
Elizabeth Knowelden captured the characters and mood wonderfully. She became Kate and through tone and emotions brought her to life. The story lends itself wonderfully to audiobook from conversation flow to humor.
The audiobook includes a PDF of recipes you’ll learn about in the story and gads I drooled more than once! This review was originally posted at Caffeinated Reviewer
