I'm glad that Marr does these little short stories in between her novels, it helps fill in some of the gaps. I had wondered what would happen between Niall, Iriel, and Leslie when I finished Ink Exchange, and I know the next book will probably pick up somewhere else related but different. I really like their relationship, it's sad of course but it's also really touching in a way. It's a really good length for a novella and I wish it had been the actual ending for Ink Exchange, but this way is good too.
