I'm glad that Marr does these little short stories in between her novels, it helps fill in some of the gaps. I had wondered what would happen between Niall, Iriel, and Leslie when I finished Ink Exchange, and I know the next book will probably pick up somewhere else related but different. I really like their relationship, it's sad of course but it's also really touching in a way. It's a really good length for a novella and I wish it had been the actual ending for Ink Exchange, but this way is good too.

Pretty light stuff, but it was nice to see Irial act less selfishly. Although is a total bad-boy and I like him like that. At least a little something letting us know a few things before the next Wicked Lovely book comes out.
