Colette's life is near-perfect, if boring, so when her ex-best friend, Sadie, asks her to come on vacation to the Greek Islands for a family wedding, Colette agrees but is surprised to learn Sadie's true reason for the invitation.
Quick thoughts: I can't decide if I loved this book so much because everything that is wrong with the last book I finished reading (Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins) is done right in My Best Friend, Maybe. I suspect it has a fair bit to do with that but I thoroughly enjoyed the setting and the depth and the winding plot. In fact, I immediately felt like re-reading this book after I was done! First time I've met with that sentiment. I'm not much into re-reading to begin with.
