Ellie is an all-american-hockey-loving tomboy, who at almost 16, finally meets a boy who calls her by her first name. This summer apart from her three best friends brings her a lot of important firsts, but she is struggling with this new image, oh, and that boy, who calls her by her first name may be a serial killer. I love Kelly Oram books because she is dependable. She crafts these adorable romances, that warm my heart and make me smile. She creates these characters that make you smile and, in the case of Ellie, make you want to be their friend. She brings the funny -- always. I chuckled and laughed audibly quite often. To sum it up: this is an adorable, fun read filled with great and likable characters.
