Another Track book, another open hanging ending. At least it started right where Ghost left off. I was SO not expecting his race to go like that....

More Defenders goofing and bonding. Found out so much about Patina and her fam. I love reading her POV with being the new girl, and the only black girl in her charter school. Her little sister that wants to be STRONG.

I am relieved and so glad Reynolds does his girl characters as well as his boy ones. I am disappointed in the other reviews saying Patina isn't as good and went too into the day to day. I think there's a lot of bias going on. It really it was the same for both. They only span a week, go to the same practices, go to school and sit at lunch, Coach coaches, etc etc.

I cannot wait for my hold to come through on the next installment!
