I normally avoid chick lit like the plague but for some reason, this one really called out to me. Don't know why, but it did and I am glad I read it.

This book had me from the first chapter, when Blythe and her lawyer were riding to the court for her divorce proceedings to the last. I got teary eyed when she drank herself into a stupor the first night in Cornwall and laughed when she met Luke the next day.

The parrell story (the one with Blythe, Kit, Ennis and Garrett) really tugged at my heartstrings and I felt for everyone involved in that storyline. It was heartbreaking in some parts. I mean, I can't imagine being married to someone I didn't love, never mind love.

I gave this book a 5 star rating on Shelfari. LIke I said about, I normally don't read chick lit but this one really caught my attention and I thought it was very well written.
