05-24: As you can see, I'm still struggling with this one. It's not because it's not written well, actually.. the author is a fine writer. Had to take a break from it though.. and try to reset.
05-18: This one's still slow going. It's gone from a military breach to orcs and dwarves. I can't stop hearing Bronzebeard when the dwarf talks. I'm going to have to just get through a bit a day, while reading other things.. at least until it picks up.
05-17: Reading this one is a bit slower, I think there's just quite a bit to set up. I'm not even to anything remotely resembling the synopsis yet. The writing is solid, I'm just waiting to be hooked.
05-15: Had a book take longer than it should have, but now I have a couple of days to focus on this one.. let's see how far we can get..
05-08: Need to get through some of this one today too. I feel like I've been waiting ages to read it..
05-06: This health crisis has shifted so many deadlines, it's playing havoc with my schedule. Been looking so forward to this read, cheers finally starting it!
