The climactic third novel in New York Times bestselling author Jeaniene Frost's Night Prince series finds Vlad and his newly turned bride, Leila, at odds with each other-and vulnerable to the one vampire powerful enough to end the Dark Prince's reign ...Play with fire, pay the price Leila's years on the carnie circuit were certainly an education. As friend and foe alike align against him-and his overprotectiveness drives Leila away-Vlad's love for his new bride could be the very thing that dooms them both ...
So the third installment of the 'Dark Prince' series 'Bound by Flames' starts us off with Vlad and Leila trying to figure out who's in leagues with his nemesis. Though trying to be ahead of the game the actually end up 3 steps behind. But in this end setting old characters of posts books ie. 'The Night Huntress' and being introduced to new characters. Plus seeing a lot of stuff betting let go, and things finally getting resolved.
It's definitely weird seeing the Vlad in his books, you see his characteristics from the previous series, but you see more in this series. While in the 'Night Huntress' series he was all in all more playful, and really enjoyed pissing Bones off. In his own series he's more serious, but more passionate, and on a good occasion you see his playful side.
This story, along with all its predecessors are simply amazing. Ms.Frost is definitely one of my top authors, and if she keeps up these kind of stories, she and her books will always be top notch in my eyes.
