So, this was my first KA book. Heres what happened:
Awhile back, I stated this book. I really didn't like Indy at all. She seemed really vapid. So, I quit reading and moved on.
Flash forward about a year and everyone I know talks about the wonderful and amazing KA. So, I decided to take the plunge again.
I'm glad I stuck it out this time. While I still found Indy a bit annoying at times (I mean, I get it, you're a 'rock chick' but why does that mean you shouldn't do certain things like cry?). That aside, I loved the book. There is so much action that there isn't a single point of climax in the story. After each event would happen I would look down and see what page I was on and realize I still had a lot of book left. Then I would think "what the hell is left to happen?!?" So, kudos to KA for keeping the book moving. Second, there is a good deal of humor; both intentional and unintentional. Third, the supporting cast is amazing. It reminded me of why I loved the Stephanie Plum books. Finally Lee is AWESOME. Bad ass, not afraid to admit his feelings, and totally alpha. HOT!
So, thanks to everyone who pushed me to read this book. I am now officially a KA fan!
