Book 1
An assassination in the Elven Court; an orphaned infant Princess; and twelve mages who have sworn to protect her.
The Elven court has tasked the Nightshade Guild with keeping Princess Ameria protected until the assassins are found and the Kingdom is stabilized. Isla Ryan has no experience with babies and is less than thrilled to take the first shift. When word gets out that the Elven Kingdom is vulnerable, everyone wants to get their hands on the orphan.
Killian Stewart arrived in Ireland desperate to heal from the PTSD he suffered after three tours of duty. His happy chatter about kids, and insistence I need his help should annoy me, but I'm feeling just the opposite. He's adorable, remember?
I want to get to know Henry better. To be honest, I don't know much about him at all. I have to keep the little Princess safe above all else, but I also need to keep Henry in the dark about our world and it's dangers. When we're ambushed by some Dark Fae trying to steal the baby, we have to run to survive. That's when I find out Henry isn't who... or what... I thought he was. One minute I'm wondering if I can trust him and the next he's the one keeping us all alive. Safety has to be our first priority, but once we're safe, I plan to get some answers, and maybe get a little up close and personal with the guy who's brought sunshine back into my gloomy world.

Benjamin “B” Logan spent most of his nights working as a bouncer at the Smoking Cauldron, a popular bar and secrete mage hotspot. When his boss asks him to have an old artifact looked at, B is more than happy to take a few days away from the city, and the memories that came with it, to take it for repairs. However, he had no idea the importance of the artifact in question, and, in order to get it fixed, meant putting himself in a position to not only save his own hide but that of the young artificer and her toddler charge.
What started out as a normal job soon became a fight for survival. Neither of them expected others were looking for the artifact and were now in charge of the protection two precious possessions. With assassins coming from every angle, all Charlie and B know is the only way to survive and keep the Princess safe is to come together.

When Luna Graves finally has the Elven Princess, she thinks she’s ready. Sure, her magic is still on the fritz and her boss is attempting to call her into work even though he approved her time off, but that’s beside the point. This is her time with the Princess and she intends to make the most of it. Until Devin tracks her down to her home and demands she come in no matter what. There’s a murderer on the loose targeting psychics and Luna is the only person he trusts. Luna knows she has to protect the princess so she finds a way to compromise, and quickly.
The last thing Devin Rogan expects is Luna walking into work with a toddler on her hip and a cat with a crooked tail at her feet, but he’ll take what he can get. A third body has turned up in just as many days, and if he can’t put away the serial killer, the small town of Cassadaga is going to have his head. Just because he doesn’t believe in magic doesn’t mean others don’t.
With Luna’s hacker skills and Devin’s no-nonsense approach, he thinks they’ll book the murderer by the end of the week. But as they dive deeper into the investigation, they realize there’s a deadly pattern with each murder that complicates things. The murderer questioned the psychics about a specific target every time, and when they were unable to provide information, they wound up dead. Now, Devin and Luna must figure out who this mysterious target is and why they’re worth killing over. They have to put their differences aside if they’re going to solve the crime and protect the Princess from outside forces before the murderer can attack again and this mysterious target is taken out for good.

Cale Cawthorn is one of twelve mages tasked with protecting Princess Ameria. Like his guildmates, he wasn't prepared to care for a toddler for a month. Especially not at his home in literal hell. Granted it's a safe space, but he needs help and who better than his best friend Turak.
Turak couldn't believe Cale had seven months to prepare for the arrival of Ameria and he did nothing. He could have read a book at the very least, but the mage was too stubborn. Thankfully he had a demon at his side to help. Together they could handle anything that came their way... right?
Marek felt like he'd spent all his time watching Cale and Turak from a distance. Their friendship intrigued him, their flirting amused him. Until Princess Ameria arrived and he couldn't sit back and watch anymore. The men needed help and it was his duty to be of assistance.

Though it's good fun for her and great practice for him, he's desperate for his month to be over, and none too happy when a groupie named Liv insists she can help. He’s not one to trust, but Liv slides right into his life, almost like she belongs. And that bothers him.
