Knox loves his job a the library and helping recommend romance novels to everyone and when he is not working at the library he is writing his Mr. Romance blog. Knox loves his romance novels and it helps him in all aspects of his life as well as being the perfect fake boyfriend/fiancé/husband but he is still having fun and does not want a serious relationship or marriage. When Knox’s friend convinces him to do a bachelor auction for charity he agrees and breaks out his Tarzan loincloth for the superhero auction.
Parker’s boss, Chase, wants her to attend her high school reunion to try and talk to Randy Pickle about selling his organic hops to Crunchy. Parker does not want to go back to her high school or have her secret outed so she convinces Chase to give her money to bid at the auction for a fake fiancé for her high school reunion. When she loses the bid after the auction Parker begs Knox to consider going with her.
As Knox and Parker start spending time together things always seem to get in their way of spending time together like Knox’s Nana and Parker’s brothers. When both Knox and Parker’s jobs are put on the line they manage to get behind each other and help the other get through the rough patch and both come out stronger on the other side.
Stud in the Stacks was another laugh out loud read for me. I think I have found another new favourite author that I can not put the books down. Parker got a little on my nerves with the whole “oh whoa is me” attitude that nothing she does is good enough. After Mister McHottie, I pegged her to be a little stronger. I fell in love with Knox and his all-knowing of romance and his Nana is the BEST! I recommend this novel to all romantic comedy lovers.
