5 maple leafs... Age of Ava is the fourth book in the Vested Interest: ABC Corp series and is an age-gap, opposites attract romance. I highly recommend this whole series.
Hunter… A nomad who inherited his grandparent’s property when his grandfather passed away. He always thought he needed to be alone and was taught never to trust or love anyone.
Ava… A strong independent woman trying to make her way in a still male-dominated world. After some bad relationships in the past, she is determined to only worry about work and herself.
Story... Ava and Hunter ran into each other at city hall and shared a bite to eat with each other. Once they officially introduced themselves, Hunter realized that Ava was a Callaghan and pushed her away due to misguided beliefs about her and her family. Cash, Hunter's golden retriever, has other plans for Hunter and Ava.
My thoughts... Hunter and Ava have some incredible banter between them and their chemistry is off the charts. I love the way their relationship grew and how Ava got Hunter to realize that he was more than he thought and was raised to believe. Cash is an adorable pup that has the perfect amount of mischief. I hope that we get more of this group in future books as I am going to miss them.
