Can Justin prove to Addy that he isn't the same jerk he was in high school?
Addison Grant
Addison Grant, more commonly known as Addy, is our main character and point of view one as well. Addy has a lot on her plate, and dealing with her ex bully from high school wasn't something that she was planning on handling. She has the wedding to do, a duck to keep from getting loose, and whatever else the town throws at her. Despite all of that, she still keeps on running into Justin. Addy loves to make lists, to-dos, or to remind herself of what she has to do later on. She also loves to bake and has made sure to watch what she is eating so that she doesn't fall back on the promise to herself.
What I love about Addison is that yes, she is a small-town girl, but she isn't ashamed of it. She thinks positively about a lot of things and people. Addy used to be a bit overweight, but she has grown a lot since that girl, and she now loves her body and is where she wants to be in life. Both in how she looks and mentally as well.
Justin Miller
Justin Miller is the celebrity that has gone from small-town life to making it big in Hollywood. Except he doesn't feel like he has everything and that he is missing something in his life. Justin is the best man at his friend's wedding and has come to Old Pine Cove to rethink his life as an actor. Or at least to decide if he genuinely still wants it. A lot happens for Justin in this book, and I loved all of it. Even though we see everything from Addison's point of view, but it's still great to see how he truly wants something with Addy.
What I love about Justin is that when he knows that he wants something, he doesn't stop until he gets it.
Five Stars
Love to Prove You Wrong by Sophie-Leigh Robbins is a hilarious novel. Ms. Robbins has done another excellent job with this series. I love these characters, and I love how goofy Addy and Justin are together. This book is worthy of five stars and a recommendation to everyone that reads romantic comedies.
