This series a holds a special place in my heart cause it one of the first series my son who now 16 remembers listening to as an audiobook. He was hooked from the first book all the way to the last. We also had the great honor of meeting Jennifer in Kennewick Wa a few years back.

I had to do a whole re read for the series before i read the fourth one as it been awhile since i hung out with sage and refresher was due. This continuation of the story did not disappoint me at all. In fact it made me cry yep tears running down my face. It also enlightens you even more how much Sage lost, uncovers and regains as he steps more into his role as king.

When i reached the end the first thing i did was find out if we truly are getting more story. I instagrammed Jennifer asking if Sage was coming out to cause more mischief as i really need to know what he discovered at the end. Jennifer is a talented author and if your fan of the first three books you really need to pick this one up.
