Good overall book about ferrets, but it's a bit disturbing when talking about food:
"It is important that your kit get used to the taste of the kibble, since this is the diet he will eat when he is an adult."

I'm wondering if the pet food industry funded this book in some way, because that's the exact opposite of what you should do to have a healthy ferret. :S

It also says you can give ferrets treats such as raisins, bananas, and other fruits - aka other foods ferrets can't eat, as they're obligate carnivores - aka they can only eat and digest meat.

I'm hoping as this book is a bit old (written in the mid-90s), that newer books will have updated information about ferrets' diet and nutrition, maybe?
