For only 32 pages, the author has managed to transport me to future America where the world is in chaos due to the Haden Syndrome. The world Scalzi created was realistic and scary. And even though this one was more of a journal, I still feel some sort of a connection to all the people who gave their testimonials about the disease.
John Scalzi's humor was praiseworthy. His talent to turn a very dire situation into something funny was almost unbelievable. With this said, I think I'm going to snatch Lock In as soon as I have breathing space.
