Liberating Lacey was really good. I was worried that it would be cheesy, since it is several years old. But it wasn't. The sex was well-written, if a bit tame. There's a lot of it and it's varied. It does get spicier toward the end, when Lacey reveals her ultimate fantasy to Hunter. The content warning does mention "forced sex fantasy" but it doesn't really go that far. It's role-playing with a little hesitation on Lacey's character's part, but there's never a true force played out.
At its center, Liberating Lacey is a love story. Lacey and Hunter have instant chemistry and can't keep their hands to themselves. From there they start having dinner, going to events, and sometimes just hanging out. Of course, there has to be a temporary break up in there. It was very sudden, and felt thrown in just to be there. It didn't quite make sense, but luckily it's over soon enough. I loved how Lacey stood her ground and told Hunter like it is!
