2.5 stars. I didn't necessarily dislike it, I just never really got it. I didn't connect to the characters and didn't ever see the point or even get the world. I never thought about quitting, the writing in and if itself was compelling enough to keep reading. But I don't plan to continue. Despite the cliff hanger (that I also didn't get). The narration was solid though!
