THIS is precisely the kind of second chance romance that I LOVE. The hero does something very hurtful and breaks the heroine's heart (but with the best of intentions). They are separated. Both remain celibate. The hero is spurned on to get her back. He grovels (a little). She resists (a little). He is an incredibly over the top alpha. She is heartbroken but likable. There is hot sex. A little (far-fetched) action, and a sweet happily ever after.

This was the first time I have ever read anything by this author, but it definitely won't be my last.
