Doris O'Connor has always known what makes me happy. She always gets it RIGHT! With "The Bear Treatment" she took it to a completely different level. She gave me a sexy, dominant, bear shifter who loves his mate with all his heart...and there's wax play :-)

I felt for Lousia. She was dumped by another loser, and she's got self esteem issues. Naturally, she's not at her best, and I understand that. I think this is why this book really clicked with me. She's not perfect like a lot of romance novel heroines. In the "real world", people have flaws, BUT (and this is a big but) that does't mean that they can't be beautiful, sexual creatures.

Luke isn't your average teddy bear. He's got an edge. He's dangerous. One look from him...one whisper...and Louisa is putty in his hands. Literally. Why can't there be any spas like THIS where I live? Forget the mani/pedi. I want the WAX! I fell for him on the spot. He's so alpha, my panties fell to the floor and exploded! However, his tender side is just as perfect. A man who isn't afraid to get what he wants from his woman but is kind enough
to soothe her insecurities with a single touch? He's a keeper, and I REALLY want to Keep Luke :-)

"The Bear Treatment" was a fun, incredibly sexy read. It's the fourth installment in Doris's "The Projects" series...which is AMAZING! I have enjoyed each and every one of them. This can be read as a stand alone, but trust me, you'll want to read the whole series. Hot guys, gorgeous heroines, and lots of sex! However, the actual PLOTS are great as well. If you've never read one of Doris O'Connor's books, this is a perfect starter. Her style is smooth and flowing, but it's not in your face. She brings us shifters (My first shifter novel was one of hers.), aliens, movie stars, Doms, and even a well...a robot man that is so hot, your circuits will blow.

Hurry! Grab this book, put on your favorie fuzzy slippers, and settle in for an evening of romance...and a bear you'll want to cuddle for the rest of your life.
