Shannon's Thoughts
I love Liz Crowe. She always manages to create these very complex family dramas that just suck you in. LOVE GARAGE, the first book in the Love Brother series, keeps with that formula, focusing on the relationship between brothers, sister and parents as youngest Love brother Aiden comes back home.

There is a lot to love about Aiden, but you could definitely see where his family might tired of his lack of follow through in what he wants to do with his love of writing. But it's not like Aiden doesn't know what everyone thinks of him or even that he doesn't want to see his novel published. He lacks faith in himself and the constant reminders of his failure don't help him do what he needs to do. Coming home, though, is the perfect remedy for Aiden. It takes him away from worry just about himself and instead reconnecting with his family and discovering what's important to him and them.

Rosalee Norris is another reason.

Rosalee has known the Love family practically all her life. She a part of the family and they have helped her through the death of her husband. Oldest Love brother, Anthony, has been her rock and everyone assumes that she and Anthony will marry and be the perfect couple. But when Aiden comes back home, she finds the spark she doesn't have with Anthony. She fights it. She distances herself for Aiden. And she almost goes down a path that would surely have ended very badly. But the pull to Aiden is too strong and she finally ends up with the Love brother she was meant to be with.

Liz Crowe always makes her hero and heroine fight through almost impossible odds to finally get their HEA. Aiden and Rosalee are no different. They fight themselves, the Love family and their own demons before they both finally admit they need each other. But realizing that what's best for them isn't necessarily what everyone else thinks it was makes Liz Crowe's couples so engaging and fun to follow.

This is a great start to the series and I'm anxious to see what comes next. If Liz Crowe is new to you or if you've been waiting to pick up a book by her, this is definitely a book to pick up.

Karen's Thoughts
This story is full of family drama as Aiden Love returns home for the first time in years. When Aiden left for college, he had big dreams, but now, he returns home disappointed he hasn’t achieved more. Aiden’s dream is to become a writer, but there isn’t any interest in the book he’s written, so he asks his brother Antony for a job in his garage. Aiden’s run out of options and takes the job, even though he hasn’t a clue how to fix a car.

After returning home, Aiden discovers his family is still opinionated and argumentative and his three older brothers, drive him crazy with their combative ways. They insist Aiden join them in their Sunday afternoon basketball games, which usually end in a fistfight. While trying to adjust to the family dynamics, Aiden has a lot on his mind. He’s worried about his future, he’s also concerned about his mom’s health and he finds himself irresistibly attracted to Antony’s girlfriend, Rosalee. Aiden tries to keep his feelings for Rosalee hidden. He knows he’s already disappointed his family and they would never forgive him if they knew how he felt.

Liz Crowe writes a realistic story about an endearing family with flaws. They are strong individuals who speak their mind and feel justified in meddling in each other’s lives. They are constantly bickering, but they always have each other’s backs. I like Aiden; he’s a nice guy, who deserves to have some good luck come his way. LOVE GARAGE is the first book in the Love Brothers series and I can’t wait to read the next one.
