Dancing with Deception paints an interesting picture for a series. Wendy is having nightmares, they are bloody and terrifying…but they start to come true and she can’t help but be involved. People are dying and she’s starting to look suspicious, so she keeps it all a secret even though it’s putting her life on the line. I definitely enjoyed it overall, even though it took a lot of suspension of belief to get on board with Wendy not breaking and telling someone. Also we have a case of “missing parent” syndrome, which is always a bit annoying. But overall it’s a short and sweet taste of the story to come!
