I also enjoyed seeing all of Larkin's family, because they're all a hoot.
The slow burn of the romance worked very well, and Larkin and Deacon took their time to get to know each other before they got more serious with each other. Or as serious as they could become with Deacon not actually having a home because he loved traveling from place to place, working a little bit when he wanted to stay for a while.
The ending was a little bit too easy for my tastes, because the tension coming up to that point just kind of fizzled out.
