This book was a bit more on the gruesome side i felt then Maze Runner but it was a lot more intriguing i say as you are not really sure what going on, what characters to believe and if what you think going to happen will happen. Also at the end your like is this the end or are they just yanking my chain again because their is another book. This series is one that totally plays with your mind and the movies are making it that much better. I will be reading and reviewing book 3 about the time the next movie comes out just so i can keep fresh what they change.
