Can Amelia and Rick find out what happened to Joe?
Well, these two lovebirds start this case right after the end of the last one. I have to say that this one was interesting. Once again, though, I kind of guessed, as I did in the last one, about what happened to Joe that made him not write any more letters to his childhood friend and sweetheart. I am quite happy with how my hunch proved to be correct. These two haven't been dating long, but a lot happens to their relationship.
The Case
This case is all about a high powered attorney wanting to find out what happened to her first love so that she can decide if marrying the former Senator of Arizona is the greatest thing for her to do. Apparently, it might not be. These two did a lot of searching and researching for this case. I loved the dinosaur bits when they went to talk to one of Joe's old college roommates.
4 Stars
Her Lost Love by Linda Weaver Clarke is a great book that has had many ups and downs in solving this case. I loved specific points of this novel and certain other ones, not so much. I definitely learned a lot, though. This book deserves four stars, and I am recommending it to anyone that likes missing person cases.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy from the author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
