PRIVILEGED gives readers an inside view of the posh, private school set of the royal, aristocracy and wealthy of England. These kids are brash, ballsy, over-indulged and quickly fall in line behind their leader Asher Frederick. But when American Nora Randolph lands on Asher's radar you have to wonder if his devious plans will bring him all that his hopes to gain.
Nora and Asher appear like a case of opposites attracting. But as the story moves along we discover a hidden depth to Asher. The veil of douchebaggery that he wears most of the time slips away with Nora and what we get is the beginnings of the man he should have grown into had he not been poisoned by life as a Frederick.
This was a fun weekend read. It's was hard to put down and made me a little sad when I got to the final paragraph in the epilogue.
