I really love this series.
I knew Jimmy's story was going to be heavy, but the feeling this book evoked in me were a little overwhelming. His childhood was brutal, but the damage he did to himself as an adult did just as much damage. The band stood behind him, supporting and loving him, even when he didn't deserve it.
Lena's life wasn't all hearts and flowers either. Jimmy was not someone I would want to work for, but to then grow feelings for him was just asking for trouble. I don't think I would have gone back again and again like she did.
Lots of drama and conflict with some steamy bits towards the end. A great story and a great series, can't wait for Benny's story.
Kylie Scott, all I can say is it's great to be a fellow....QUEENSLANDER!!! Go The Maroons!!
