This book is one of my favorites out the these stand alone novels as it does what i not seen explored this well in the Shannara world a love interest. I really got caught up in the relationship between leoufar and Imric. I actually cried at the end when she had to choose between the love she known for a long time and the new one she has embraced. I really thought that Imric had been killed off and i was like no they deserve to be together what are you doing Terry lol. I did really enjoy the Murk Witch character and how she was portrayed as child wanting to play a game with her captives. The description of the land she lived in with all the creepy various characters was deliciously creepy. I eagerly await your next masterpiece.
