If you're looking for a heart pounding, action packed, and emotional story you won't be disappointed with Renegade the sophomore follow up novel to Mila 2.0. This book was literally amazing, I seriously could not put it down. There were so many feels and emotions going through me as I sat mesmorized once again by this wickedly fantastically talented author, who has definitely become a favorite of mine. There are so many electrifying twists and turns, Renegade will leave you breathless and aching with anticipation. The stakes are raised higher in this book, completely jam packed with so much more danger and mystery. Trust is something that is not easily given, because the risks are way too high for Mila to risk her life.
There is absolutely no suffering from second book syndrome, when it comes to this highly anticipated novel. Mila, Hunter, and most of our favorite characters are back with even more mystery and suspense, intrigue and heart throbbing action that will blow your socks off. I absolutely loved reading this book, because the story just kept building and building, and you never know what was going to happen next until it did. It's pretty rare that I find a book that really suck me into the world that it's created and keep me that invested in it. Debra Driza is a phenomenal author who has immense talented and a wonderful wealth of creative imagination.
Hunter was a rather enjoyable character with questionable motives that Mila found hard to trust with her secret, because it would endanger her very life so much. I love that he was written in such a way where he was realistically flawed and also easy to connect with. Mila was stronger than ever in this one, I felt so much for her as she was questioning her own humanity at the same time, while trying to embrace her android abilities. My connection to her only grew stronger over the course of the book and I couldn't help but feel so many things for her. This book raises so many questions that it will literally leave your head spinning, trying to piece it all together.
You're just, you're really not going to want to miss out on this book, because it was probably the best one written and there's still more to come.
