I've been trying to write this review for the last three hours. Every time I would get started, I couldn't get the words out of how I truly felt about this book. I've had so many emotions running through my mind and heart. It's not often that you read a book that has such an impact on your heart, but Longing For Home: Hope Springs does exactly that.

The second Longing for Home book, by Sarah M. Eden will give you an incredible reading experience. Even if you haven't read the first book you still will be touched by Katie's story. Sarah gives enough background from the first book to pull you into the turbulent situations happening in the small town of Hope Springs, Wyoming between the Irish immigrants and the Reds, the American farmers. Readers also fall right in as the two men, American landowner Joseph, and Irishman Tavish, fight for Katie's love.

Katie is an inspiring character who will win you over, if she already didn't in the first book. Katie is a strong, courageous and giving woman. This is the kind of character and hero I want my daughter reading about.

Readers be prepared for a story that will bring laughter, shock and tears. There are so many things that will make you sad and then angry and then happy. Sarah M. Eden has a way to emotionally capture her readers within a story and not let go until the end of the book. Hope Springs, for me, was a better read than the first book, and it was amazing. The romance is good and I love the many kisses in the book. The ending is fulfilling, and you will be content after reading Longing For Home: Hope Springs.
