An enjoyable anthology from Ellery Queen with a combination of shorter and longer stories. A solid 3.5 stars as a whole from me. The stand-out contributions, leaning more to four or even five stars, were The Gun Puzzle (featuring Nero Wolfe), The Crimson Coach Murders, Sauce for the Goose (Patricia Highsmith's trademark suspense, not mystery, but still a great addition), likewise for The Laughing Chef, and two great puzzles, The Jewel of Childeric (a Dupin pastiche) and Wedding Anniversary (with Ellery Queen). A very solid 3.5 from me.
