Socialpunk is a dystopian society novel at its finest. Unlike other dystopian novels, where violence is rampant and all one ever sees is death, destruction, and oppression, this novel has a different view on a dystopian society. I was intrigued by this novel from the very start - it was nearly impossible for me to put it down.
Our heroine Ima is very well thought out and fleshed out. It is obvious who she cares for, what she cares for and about, and that she is determined to have what it is she wants and who it is she loves.
Nahum is not as well fleshed out, but he is an interesting character as well - although I much prefer her best friend Dash. He is an interesting character and one that should not be missed.
Vaughn is also a great character - all of the characters that appear in the book are great to be honest. It is hard to pick a favorite.
The only thing that drove me crazy about the book? The ending. You have to read this to believe it and frankly, I was left wanting the next book Socialmob to come out yesterday!
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars!
