Doctor Strange (2018-) #9

This issue felt more like a one-shot, but I really enjoyed it. First there’s the fact that Doctor Strange is officially back on earth, and he’s clearly settled back into the Sanctum. Then there’s the fact that this issue actually had a lot of laugh out loud moments. It was the perfect way to release the tension from the last plot.
While the plot was funny at points, it did have a serious undertone to it. It kind of reminded me of Spider-Man at some points – the constant back and forth between Spider-Man and the city that sometimes loves him but sometimes hates him. It was really well done.
