This is the second book I have given up on before finishing in the last five years. Even if I hate it, I usually try to get through to the end; I feel like I owe the author at least that much. But I just couldn't get through Dracula... I got to page 100, and then I realized that every time I came across some spare time, I thought to myself, "Well, I could read... Oh crap, but I'm reading Dracula, ugh" and would end up cleaning my house instead. CLEANING, guys. So I'm throwing in the towel on this one.
(The only other book I have given up on, by the way, was Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell.)
