I liked this book. It had a lot going on, and sometimes it was hard to keep up with, but I liked it all the same.

A quick rundown. Felicity is working at a gallery, and one day Chris comes along. She's been in love with him for a long time, but he was always off limits. He lets her know, in no uncertain terms, that she's in danger, and she has to come with him and the men he's with or risk death. Confused, but frightened, she gives in and follows him. It turns out that Chris is in a family pod with three (it had been four) other men. Men who were aliens.

Their former leader had been murdered, and now they're all on the run. Meanwhile, the brother of the murdered man is on his way to earth to help the family his brother loved so much. What follows is an exciting and nailbiting race to save the pod from less than honorable aliens from their own planet, as well as humans who work with them. Eventually, everything comes to a head with the dead man's brother arriving on Earth to help save the day.

As I said, there is a lot going on here. Along with hiding, the men (Chris especially) try to convince that Felicity should be with them and complete their family. Chris confesses to having loved her for a long time (He also calls her "Flick" which is one of the cutest nicknames I've ever heard.), and he's also in love with the other men. There is quite a bit of sex happening. Sex between Chris and Felicity. Sex between Chris and the other men.

Sex between the other men and Felicity. Honestly, I don't know how they had time to hide, but it worked. I'm a fan of menage, so it the idea of one woman with five men didn't bother me at all. The story was a good one. It's not hard to imagine that aliens may be here on earth...eespecially if they look just like us, and it's also not hard to imagine that there would be dishonest and greedy humans who would be more than willing to assist the bad guys for the right price.

The issue that kept me from giving this great story a 4 rather than the 3.5 I am rating it as was the way Zed (the leader's brother) came to Earth, helped everyone, was convinced to join and lead the family pod. Of course it was going to happen, and I was looking forward to it, but after he agreed to live with and take care of them, it skipped ahead to twelve months later. Apparently, he's been keeping to himself, feeling as if he doesn't belong.

I know that there are time constraints in a book, but I would have loved to have seen some of what went on during those twelve months...some interaction between him and the others. It all climaxes (hehe) in a giant six person love fest that was quite rewarding.

I do recommend this book. There is a book that comes before this one, but I've not read it. It's also MMMMMF, and I will definitely be reading that one as well.
